News Bulletin - Sep 2026

Spetember 2026
It has been a great year for sales and development. However, I’m ready to dive fully back into the development phase of the business by tackling R&D projects that I have slowly been chipping away at over the past few months. I haven’t been able to commit to finishing these projects as my amazing customers have kept me and my new hire/apprentice very busy, which we greatly appreciate.
.
But I must take a step back from sales of harnesses for a while and remember why I do this in the first place. I do this work because I genuinely love it and I want to continue to love this line of work for many years to come. It’s not about the money, but the money funds the projects and keeps the new hire coming back. So again, I am grateful for all the orders this year and previous years, and hopefully in the years to come.
.
Starting this fall, I have set most "built to order" harnesses to out of stock. The website is not shut down by any means, as I will continue to send out connectors/pigtails/leads daily along with products such as the Mazda Protégé AC fix which we have built a stockpile of to avoid seasonal sale windows for it.
.
Orders that are currently outstanding with us will be filled and shipped on their normal schedule, but ability to place new orders for coil, Direct injection, Port injection, headlight conversions, split second, wotbox, adapter, extension harnesses will be prevented from the website for the time being.
.
Does this mean we are completely against building these harnesses over the next few months? Absolutely not. Feel free to reach out to US via phone, contact form, messenger and if you need a custom solution, perhaps we can help.
.
So, what’s the plan for the rest of the year? Well, we are looking to build variants of test rigs for full car harnesses for fault finding and new OEM harness production starting with the Mazda Protégé w/ABS & Manual Trans, we will be bringing back the Protégé Main Harness adapter for adapting an aftermarket ECU to the stock harness, start development on the Harness test rig for the Speed3, and I plan to train up the apprentice on how to make some of our flagship harnesses. All these things require time, and to deliver the best quality product for my customers, I want to focus on making sure we are doing things right and not worrying about timelines with filling scheduled orders.
.
When ordering does comes back online for our "Built to Order" items, I plan to add a new option to some of the listings as “Apprentice built”. These will be the harnesses that were built during the learning/teaching phase by my apprentice over the next few months. They will be fully functional as tested by our Calibrated CableEye Harness Tester System, but they might not be as pretty or pleasing to the eye. These will be offered at a discount rate. When they are sold out and the apprentice can meet my standards, the option will be removed, and products will be sold at normal rate. I will also assure you that we will not be raising prices in 2027. I find other ways to fight inflation.
.
As the apprentice gets up to speed on a few things, we may start trickling some listings online as he becomes more self-sufficient, but I make no promises to this.
.
Ultimately this will help reduce self-imposed stress and time pressure , reduce chance of burnout, and allow me to work in wirecraft/harnessworks/low voltage shenanigans for the whole reason I got into it.
.
For the Love of the Game.
